A flickering of an instanceLife flickers and falters as the fox stores daringly at the headlights, The slight prisming effect of the webbed covering scattering the colours, Unseen by the awaiting victim as its ears twitch slightly in the wind, Sensing, feeling, for perhaps the last, At which all are enhanced, everything so vivid, A gentle clicking as the grasshopper plays his tune, A hollow hoot of an onlooking owl that peers with interest, The wafts of a rotting other that swirls around the muzzle of the royal posed mammal, And acceptant it regally bows its head from the glare, Runs a dry tongue slowly across its pA flickering of an instance
A faint dripping...A faint dripping falls onto the face, Little is known of its origin, Just the presence now unfathomable, As if boring itself in the rock, Chiselling a new feature into the cheek where it lies, Moulding and revolving around the crevices, Glistening as a delicate crystal slices and forms a rift, The gradual emergence from within as the liquids entwine, Dancing, almost joyously, until they settle contently, Destination arrived, journey terminated, The long lost sensation of fortitude flickers in the eyes, As they stare back, unflinching, distorted, Yet none the less enthrallA faint dripping...
Tearing WithinPassing through the sea of dread, A faint shiver runs carelessly down, Winding its way as it penetrates deep, Twisting, tearing at the fabric, It smirks slightly as it meets a once glowing heart, Burrows inside and beams from the other, A glance back of pure extacy as, In an instant, its work is done.Tearing Within
